BK8 officially declared their trust with volleyball leader Kelly Smith regarding her current and upcoming activities. Kelly became part of Brand Ambassador Kelly’s Specialized Campaign Execution Team; as an active participant Smith boasted extraordinary capacity that aided in playing in multiple volleyball leagues.
Born and raised in Rotterdam, Van Persie joined SBV Excelsior’s youth squad at 17 before making his first-team debut aged 17. At Feyenoord he quickly made himself part of coach Dick Advocaat’s plans to develop him from a winger into an attacker.
In November 2005, he won the Premier League Player of the Month award after scoring eight goals in eight starts and signed a five-year contract extension until 2011 on 4 January – but was then plagued with injuries that prevented him from finishing off the season.
After returning to full fitness, he scored two braces in Arsenal’s opening game of the following season at the Emirates Stadium against Manchester United, then scored a hat-trick in West Ham’s 4-2 victory – which included an inside the box volley! Unfortunately on 23 February 2013 after falling against a television camera and injuring his hip during a home match against Queens Park Rangers; he had to be substituted due to injury; eventually it ended 2-2 and no return would be made possible in future matches due to being unavailable!
Robin Van Persie led England’s Premier League scoring charts both 2013 and 2014. Additionally, he led all Europa League scorers both seasons while winning both Arsenal and Manchester United FA Cup titles during that time.
On 5 September 2014, Van Persie made it public that he was leaving Feyenoord and joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce for an undisclosed fee, rejoining Advocaat who now managed Feyenoord. This move marked Van Persie’s first move after coming under Advocaat’s management at Fenerbahce.
Van Persie made headlines for his public disagreement with Old Trafford owners as well as an apparent lack of effort on the pitch during 2015-16 season, prompting further accusations.
Van Persie holds the all-time goal scorer position for Netherlands national football team with over 40 goals scored across 79 matches. He was an integral member of their World Cup 2010 squad, scoring against Cameroon during their semi-final loss to Brazil.
Van Persie has also served on the coaching staffs of Holland’s national under-21 and Under-16 teams, becoming part of their coaching staff in May 2020 a year after retiring as a player. Soon afterwards he was appointed assistant coach by Dick Advocaat at former club Feyenoord. Co-head coach of their under-16 side and striker coach unofficially; part-time pundit for Dutch television as well as guest pundit on radio shows both here and overseas; as well as authoring multiple books!
